Health Information
For 2012, all of our kids will be removed from their dam at birth and raised on a CAE prevention program. Kids are disbudded before 10 days of age, and tattooed soon after. Does have been wormed and treated with Tetanus C/D, and kids will also receive a booster shot.
Maintaining herd health is a priority at Dawnwind Dairy Goats. We are a CL-free herd. All adult animals tested negative for CAE via Biotracking in March of 2011.
Purchasing Information
If you are interested in a kid, please email us to get on a reservation list. Full payment for animals are due at delivery. Buck kids will only be available from mature does, after the does have been evaluated.
We occasionally have adult milkers and bucks for sale, so please ask.
Buyer is responsible for the cost of health certificates and transportation costs. We may be able to help arrange transportation within Wyoming, South Dakota, or to central Colorado.
We offer discounts to 4-Hers or other youth goat enthusiasts, those who participate in DHIA and Linear Appraisal, and quantity purchases.
